The Hospitality Institute is a program of Miami Dade College - International Hospitality Center, located in the Overtown area of the City of Miami.  It was established to connect job opportunities in the local hospitality and tourism industry with Miami’s inner city residents through customer service and job readiness training.

Our Mission:  To improve the quality of life in underprivileged and inner city areas within Miami and beyond through targeted and customized workforce training and gainful employment supported by holistic services to enable sustainability.

The Institute is funded through grants from the CRA-Southeast Overtown/ParkWest and Community Redevelopment Agencies of the City of Miami.
